Skills & Progression
Spend skill points to unlock passive bonuses. Two main trees: Mining and Personal. Points are earned through gameplay (e.g. mining, activities).
How It Works
- You earn skill points by doing related activities (e.g. mining for Mining tree).
- Open the skill tree UI in-game and spend points on nodes. Each node usually costs 1 point.
- Some nodes are tiered (I → II → III → IV); effects stack.
Mining Skills
Improve mining speed, tool durability, and rewards.
Tool Preservation I–IV
Reduces tool durability loss by 10% per rank when mining (total up to 40%).
Lucky Strike I–IV
5% chance per rank to receive double ore when mining (stacks).
Swift Mining I–IV
Increases mining speed by 10% per rank (total up to 40%).
Mining level can also gate access to some items at the Mines shop (e.g. higher-tier tools).
Personal Skills
Combat and survival bonuses.
Last Stand I–IV
When your HP drops below 15%, weapon damage increases by 5% per rank.
Reduced Recoil II–IV
Reduces weapon recoil by 10% per rank for improved accuracy.
Faster Reload I–IV
Reduces reload time by 10% per rank.
Increased Fist Damage
Increases unarmed (fist) damage by 10%.
Underwater Breathing
Increases breath-holding time underwater by 5 seconds.
Summary
- Mining — Tool Preservation, Lucky Strike, Swift Mining (faster, less wear, more ore).
- Personal — Last Stand, Recoil, Reload, Fist damage, Underwater breathing.
